Pour voyager hors des sentiers touristiques, un téléphone solide nous était indispensable. Lors de nos recherches, nous nous sommes intéressés de près au téléphone Cat S60.
Ses atouts: très solide, résistant aux chutes jusqu'à 1m80, étanche (le plus étanche réalisé à ce jour) 1H à 5m de profondeur max, une caméra thermique, un bouton SOS...
Le téléphone parfait pour un baroudeur!
Si on en a pas l'utilité, la caméra thermique n'est pas indispensable, mais nous lui avons trouvé un usage différent de ce pourquoi elle a été conçue.
Bien sûr, comme dans tout chantier, elle nous servira à repérer les fuites de chaleur que nous aurons dans la cellule du Pickup, nous garantissant une bonne isolation même dans les endroits les plus froids, mais ce n'est pas tout.
Lors de nos futures balades dans des milieux sauvages, le repérage des animaux sauvages à distance sera possible. Ainsi la photo animalière deviendra plus simple a réaliser et la surprise de tomber nez à nez avec ours sauvage se fera plus rare ;)
To travel off the tourist trail, a strong phone was essential. During our research, we took a close interest in the Cat S60 phone. Its strengths: very solid, resistant to falls up to 1m80, waterproof (the most waterproof made to date) 1H to 5m deep max, a thermal camera, an SOS button ... The perfect phone for an adventurer!
If we do not use it, the thermal camera is not essential, but we found it a different use than what it was designed.
Of course, as in any construction site, it will be used to identify the heat leaks that we will have in the Pickup camper, guaranteeing us good insulation even in the coldest places, but that's not all. During our future walks in wild environments, the tracking of wild animals at a distance will be possible. Thus the animal photo will become simpler to realize and the surprise to come face to face with wild bear will be more rare;)
